Why HEPA Air Purifiers Aren’t Good Enough?
I believe that most of you are familiar with the term High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA). If you don’t, HEPA filtration means a promise of 99.97% efficiency in removing airborne pollutants as small as 0.3 microns.
0.3 microns may sound very small, but what most people don’t realize is that
90% of indoor air pollutants are smaller than 0.3 microns!
For instance, dust mites, pet dander and viruses could be as small as 0.003 microns.
Mere HEPA filters would not do a good job in filtering them out. This is exactly why HEPA filters aren’t just good enough.
The Danger Of Ultra-Fine Particles
Ultra-fine particles are particles measuring less than 0.1 microns. Some scientific researches prove that particles measuring less than 0.1 microns are most harmful to health, particularly to allergy sufferers
Ultra-fine particles are so small that it can easily be inhaled and absorbed by our lungs, at a much faster rate compared to normal sized particles. This faster absorption rate could cause almost instant allergic and asthmatic response, if you are sensitive to that particle.
The California Air Resources Board estimates that ultra-fine particles
subtract 10 years from a person’s life!
The Revolutionary HyperHEPA Filtration Technology
